While prestige education remains a strong indicator of future success, the career trajectories of these 32-year-olds are far from uniform. Nearly half of the group launched their professional lives at four industry giants: Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America. Despite the concentration of talent in New York City—where 20 of the 25 honorees currently work—the group draws from 20 different universities, including top-tier research institutions and liberal arts colleges. Fields of study are equally diverse, ranging from philosophy and mathematics to traditional economics.

Institutional loyalty is a recurring theme, as nine of these rising stars have remained at a single firm throughout their entire careers. Blackstone’s Jake Epstein, for instance, transitioned directly from college into the alternative asset manager. Others, such as Apollo principal Daniel Borkenstein, utilized a stint in banking as a springboard into private equity. The influence of current market trends is undeniable, with 10 honorees now dedicating their expertise to the artificial intelligence boom, focusing on everything from infrastructure financing to the development of AI-powered investment strategies.
