Amy Childs and Billy Delbosq are planning a vow renewal

After marrying in a legal ceremony in London in April and celebrating with a three-day wedding in Spain in September, Amy Childs and Billy Delbosq are already considering another celebration. “We’re thinking about vow renewals for next year,” Childs told Closer ahead of their new spin-off series.

Delbosq planned the Spanish wedding, Childs said, adding that she had thought he was arranging a funeral because he was so stressed. She brought her designer, make-up artist and hairdresser to Spain, and wore three dresses during the event, which drew 160 guests. Among them were TOWIE co-stars Sophie Kasaei and Jordan Brook, Saffron Lempriere and Childs’ cousin Harry Derbidge, who was her man-of-honour.

All four of Childs’ children attended: three-year-old twins Millie and Billy, whom she shares with Delbosq, 43, and Polly, nine, and Ritchie, eight, from previous relationships. Childs described walking down the aisle with her father as emotional, saying he had never thought she would marry. Delbosq recalled seeing Childs’ parents and Polly crying before he, too, began to cry.

Childs, 36, and Delbosq say marriage has brought more stability to their relationship. They began dating in 2021 and got engaged two years later. The couple now make time for a monthly date night, with an agreement not to talk about the children. Delbosq, who found fame on Channel 4’s First Dates, said their relationship was more relaxed and that they understood each other.

The wedding had been postponed from the previous year after Childs’ mother, Julie, 60, suffered a heart attack. Childs said Julie is recovering and called the previous year the hardest of her life, reflecting that her mother might not have been able to see her walk down the aisle.

Amy Childs: A TOWIE Wedding will air at 9pm on Tuesday 10, Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 November on ITV2 and ITVX.
