EU Commission denies Kaja Kallas link to secretive Dialog society

A leaked attendee list for the elite Dialog retreat, hosted by billionaire Peter Thiel, falsely placed EU foreign affairs chief Kaja Kallas among the society’s members. European Commission officials confirmed Kallas has no connection to the organization and no plans to attend the private gathering scheduled for August near Dublin.

The roster, which surfaced on 16 June, identifies 222 individuals ranging from tech moguls to political heavyweights. High-profile names on the list include Elon Musk, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Senator Ted Cruz, alongside figures like Garry Kasparov and German MP Jens Spahn. While the document suggests a massive convergence of global power, verifying who will actually participate remains difficult, as organizers operate under strict secrecy.

Founded by Thiel in 2006, the society has long drawn scrutiny for its opaque nature and eclectic session topics, which reportedly include themes like nuclear energy advocacy and unconventional social dynamics. Past records have linked the group to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, who received an invitation to the 2014 retreat. The current leak, attributed to hacktivist Maia Arson Crimew, has pulled the curtain back on an invite-only network that blends Silicon Valley capital with international political influence, leaving the European Commission to distance its top diplomat from the controversial club.
