While the SBU maintains the operation was a legitimate security measure, the fallout has been immediate. Zelensky dismissed Oleh Khramov, a senior SBU official, while HUR chief Kyrylo Budanov demanded an independent investigation into what he described as the criminal kidnapping of military personnel.
