July civilian death toll hits 2022 high as economic war intensifies

As strikes penetrate deeper into the Russian Federation, the reciprocal destruction of refineries and trade hubs ensures that the civilian population faces increasing shortages and supply volatility. Kuleba noted that while food supplies remain secure for now, the systematic targeting of logistics will inevitably disrupt the availability of imported goods, signaling a new, more difficult phase for those living in unoccupied Ukraine.
