Sundays partnered with Cartage AI to implement a coordination tool named Wilson, which handles freight quoting, booking, and delivery-exception management. According to cofounder Moe Samieian Jr., the platform acts as a virtual team member with its own email and phone number, capable of answering inquiries and sourcing trucks without human intervention. By centralizing data from disparate shipping vendors, Wilson provides the visibility needed to track large-parcel orders through the final mile.
Previously, Sundays relied on manual labor, forcing staff to navigate multiple portals and spreadsheets to locate shipments. Abdul Basharat, CEO of Cartage AI, noted that the tool automates these tasks and flags complex issues for human review only when necessary. This transition has saved the company hundreds of hours monthly, allowing employees to pivot away from administrative tracking toward product design and strategic supply chain consolidation. Logistics consultant Nishit Nisudan observed that such shifts are becoming mandatory for furniture brands, as e-commerce giants continue to tighten the standards for shipping speed and transparency.
